Local Thought Leaders On The Edge Of Change. Innovation, ideas, and ingenuity are the muscles we have to change the world for the better. This event is easily described as a local version of Ted Talks, with a focus on bringing the community together to support growth. VANtalks is a growing ecosystem of thought leaders who endeavor to stand on the leading edge of local and global change. These leaders have come together to form a community of innovators, professionals, social entrepreneurs, and agents of change.
When SLTFNDRY was brought in for this project, the VANtalks team had a logo mostly decided on, a big dream, and some elbow grease. We were able to establish the styling for, and create, their print & web graphics . This allowed the VANTalks team to focus on putting together this excellent event without having to worry about how to get the info out to the audience. We had a great time putting together a style that is clean, clear, and local through intentional use of color, connect-the-dot style graphics, and a subtle backdrop map of downtown Vancouver, Wa. SLTFNDRY Delivered print ready graphics for informational postcards, as well as web design for the event. We have also expanding our role in VANtalks past just an outside vendor, and we are now on the VANtalks committee helping organize, plan, and roll out the event.
